Evertz Showcase Next-Generation PTP Synchronization Solutions At NAB 2025

The Evertz 5800MSC is a revolutionary sync generator that redefines timing infrastructure for modern video facilities.
Evertz sets a new benchmark in broadcast synchronization with the debut of the 5800MSC, delivering unparalleled precision, redundancy and future-ready IP timing solutions for hybrid and all-IP facilities.
Engineered from the ground up in response to customer feedback, this next-generation master sync clock addresses the evolving needs of SDI, IP and hybrid environments. Designed with a focus on innovation, security and reliability, the 5800MSC includes a user-friendly customer-driven web interface for seamless remote access and management. It supports highly secure remote connectivity through IPSEC and features dual management ports for redundancy.
Redundancy is a core principle of the 5800MSC. Along with dual power supplies and redundant frame controllers, the 5800MSC also supports dual external GNSS heads supporting both L1 and L5 bands.
The 5800MSC platform ensures uninterrupted operation even in the face of environmental or hardware failures. Its flexible output architecture includes:
- Main and Backup SFP port for PTP
- Main and Backup QSFP port for PTP and TG IP Outputs
- Front Panel Support
- Six independently configurable analog sync outputs
- Two LTC/Wordclock/DARS outputs
- Four independent HD/3G/UHD SDI and IP (ST 2110 along with ST 2022-7) test signal outputs
