ELEMENTS Boosts Media Workflows Through Storage Innovation
High performance media storage specialist ELEMENTS will focus on the new advanced version of its CUBE ultra-portable media storage appliance at NAB. CUBE is part of a complete, media-focused environment supporting every step from on-set capture to post and finishing; on premises and in the cloud.
CUBE brings together everything that makes the ELEMENTS approach so powerful. In a remarkably compact box – just 375mm x 205mm x 330mm (15” x 8” x 13”) – it packs up to 210TB of usable storage using NVMe delivering the ultimate in access speed and connectivity. More than just storage, it allows rough cuts on the go, which can be transferred to the production’s preferred editing platform, including all comments and annotations.
Using CUBE, productions can view dailies and pre-select takes before transferring just the media you need to the ELEMENTS Media Library, hosting content at the post house or in the cloud. Each production is different, and the ELEMENTS solution provides complete flexibility to develop exactly the workflows you need, with collaboration powered by fast shared storage.
NAB visitors will also be able to experience the innovative artificial intelligence applications ELEMENTS offers. The latest exciting developments show how productions can pick the tools that best suit their needs, including media analysis and discovery as well as creation, bringing software plug-ins from the leading AI providers into the open ELEMENTS environment. The automation engine tools ensure that these new features are seamlessly integrated into the production workflow, providing advanced functionality and complete traceability.
The latest updates to the ELEMENTS Media Library will be shown. These enhance its usability and efficiency, streamlining production workflows like never before. These improvements allow for faster and easier completion of daily tasks, which can now be boosted still further with the addition of AI and cloud innovations. The refined Media Library now supports an even more intuitive user experience, enabling creative teams to manage, access and collaborate on media content more effectively.
The ELEMENTS NAB presentation will feature all the company’s latest developments. Integration of the new HTTP3 standard provides dramatically increased cloud upload performance, making camera to cloud workflows practical and efficient. Through the ELEMENTS Media Library high quality proxies are generated automatically and virtually instantaneously, making remote working simple and reliable.
