Using the power of elastic compute many applications in the production and broadcast chain can become cloud hosted and remotely driven. The platform is powered by Grass Valley’s GV AMPP as the application layer with Telstra’s media connectivity and managed services overlaid on top.
Telstra Playout can deliver the efficient end-to-end operations for pass through, fully curated or advertising and interstitial insert channels. As a software-based solution, this service can remove the need for the specialist playout operations hardware that are required in on-premise operations. The service is highly flexible and scalable to deal with multiple channel operations and the needs of Disaster Recovery (DR) business continuity in a crisis.
