NAB 22 BEIT Conferences Detail TV Engineering Progress
If you find color bars more intriguing than talent on a set, you need to attend the SBE Ennes Workshop and BEIT Conference sessions.
People visit NAB Shows for many reasons. Some are there to investigate and examine new solutions. Some are shopping with a budget ready to spend. Others visit to gather ideas and figures for next year’s budget. Many visit to accomplish all this and make time to learn the latest relevant information from the industry experts at BEIT Conferences.
The 2022 NAB Show promises to be different than past NAB Shows in countless ways. For example, more than 1600 companies exhibited at NAB 2019. On 6 April 2022, NAB announced 900 exhibitors. South Hall won’t be used for the NAB Show, but the LVCC added a new West Hall across Paradise Road from North Hall. The NAB Show will use the new West Hall for some exhibits, which is also the new home of the 2022 BEIT Conference.
Fewer exhibits give visiting TV engineers more time to attend BEIT sessions. Over the better parts of three days, there are 60 BEIT sessions of specific interest to TV broadcast engineers.

The SBE Ennes Workshop is on Saturday from 10:35 to 11:35, in room W311-W313
It begins with opening remarks from Tom Mikkelsen, Chief Transition Director at BitPath and comments from Jim Ragsdale, Executive Director at SBE.
