Kameraproduksjon Selects TSL’s Control Systems For 4K HDR Truck
Kameraproduksjon AS, a technical supplier of OB and multi-camera services across Norway, has built its renowned 4K HDR OB truck, the UHD2 with flexibility in mind. The truck has been used in a variety of applications from one-man productions to larger productions with 10 camera chains.
UHD2 has TSL control systems at its core, and the brand’s hardware and software panels can manage and control third-party devices from a range of manufacturers. TSL is also responsible for the monitoring of baseband signals in the OB as its MPA1 SOLO SDI can manage SDI, AES, Analogue sources in a lightweight compact form factor. TSL also provides Kameraproduksjon with intelligent power distribution to supply, manage and monitor power in the racks, allowing operators to easily turn equipment on/off at the touch of a button.
“Kameraproduksjon has unleashed the power of the TSL control system, giving operators and engineers the ability to freely control multiple devices from different vendors,” says Daniel Shihata, European Sales Manager at TSL. “They were able to design their own software panels to meet their needs so they can take ownership of the system.”
“Our UHD2 OB truck is working great with the help of TSL Products,” says Helge M. Fjogstad, Co-owner of Kameraproduksjon AS. “The flexibility of the TSL control system enables us to quickly adapt according to the production. We were promised a valuable return on our investment and that’s exactly what we received.”
