FreeCast Upgrades OTT UX With 3 Screen Solutions

FreeCast has selected the 3READY Product Framework from 3 Screen Solutions (3SS) to upgrade the user experience (UX) of its aggregated OTT multiscreen service.

Privately-owned FreeCast offers an all-OTT aggregated consumer platform called SelectTV in the US market with the promise of “less time searching, more time watching”. Acting as a virtual operator, FreeCast brings together multiple streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and others. Key user benefits include a unified UI/UX across multiple devices, and one unified subscription management account with a single monthly bill.

FreeCast has appointed 3SS to deploy its 3READY as the foundation for a new, UX unified across platforms and devices. 3READY will be integrated first in streaming boxes and connected TV sets, followed by other consumer devices.

SelectTV is available on a range of OTT devices including Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, iOS and Android mobile devices, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS connected TVs. It can also be accessed directly over the web. 3SS will co-define and co-design together with FreeCast based on 3READY Design & Experience System and deliver the unified UX to cover all these devices.
