InSync Upgrades To PHABRIX QxL For ST 2110 Signal Generation And Analysis

QxL chosen for its leading IP and 4K/UHD test and measurement capabilities.
InSync Technology has selected PHABRIX’s QxL 25G IP ST 2110 rasterizer for UHD SDI and IP video and audio signal generation and analysis. Since its inception in 2003, InSync has specialized in the development of highly efficient signal processing hardware and software products, with a focus on motion compensated frame rate and format conversion.
Paola Hobson, Managing Director at InSync Technology, said, “It was vital when evaluating new test and measurement solutions that the chosen product could deliver a comprehensive and intuitive set of tools for ST 2110 generation, analysis and monitoring. With the QxL’s advanced IP and UHD toolsets and fully flexible architecture, we can continue to be at the forefront of innovative technology development in this radically changing media landscape.”
The PHABRIX QxL is a flexible, compact 25GbE UHD rasterizer designed to meet the requirements of 10GbE/25GbE IP workflows suitable for professional broadcast. Out of the box, this IP enabled rasterizer supports generation and analysis of JT-NM TR 1001-1:2018, ST 2110-20, 30, 31, 40* media flows, all with 2022-7 Seamless IP Protection Switching (SIPS), and independent PTP slaves on each media port for fully redundant media network operation.
The QxL’s advanced engineering suite of tools for ST 2110 analysis and debug offers the provision of up to four simultaneous dual Packet Interval Timing measurement windows per input for easy visualization of network congestion and sender packet distribution with max, mean and min inter-packet arrival times. Detailed data reporting of flow packet, clock rates and PTP timing relationship, as well as ST 2110-21 Network Compatibility model (CINST) and Virtual Receiver Buffer Model (VRX) measurements, IP flow latency and RTP clock timing relationships are also featured.
PHABRIX CEO, Phillip Adams, comments, “We are delighted that InSync Technology has chosen PHABRIX’s test and measurement solutions once again. With the QxL’s comprehensive IP ST 2110 toolset and advanced 4K/UHD support, it’s the ideal solution for InSync Technology’s next generation product development and production needs.”
