OOONA Convert Integrated Into yellaUmbrella’s Stellar And Nebula Solutions
OOONA Convert graphic interface.
Cloud-based subtitle file conversion API converts between different subtitle and caption formats.
Convert, OOONA's subtitle file conversion technology, has been selected for integration into yellaUmbrella's platform. Based in Suffolk, UK, yellaUmbrella produces a wide range of tools for manipulating, creating, reviewing and editing timed text, audio and video content.
"We are delighted to be working with OOONA to integrate its Convert subtitle file conversion service with our Nebula and Stella tools," comments yellaUmbrella CEO/MD Matt Deakin. "The combination allows us to offer a market leading level of support for the widest possible range of file formats. Now our clients can convert between subtitle, closed caption, audio description and dubbing file types that cover almost all formats and languages used worldwide."
"Convert allows localization service-providers to perform subtitling and format conversion quickly and easily from practically any internet-connected desktop or portable computer," adds OOONA co-founder and CEO Wayne Garb. "We are confident that yellaUmbrella customers will find it an efficient and effective additional resource."
A browser-based online application available on Standard and Pro price models, OOONA Convert allows subtitle files to be selected for conversion using direct file choice or drag-and-drop. Import settings, including file format, language and video frame rate, can be defined manually or from predefined templates. User settings can be saved within Convert and optionally shared with colleagues. Convert API Standard supports up to 1,000 conversions per month. Convert API Pro is intended for high volume users requiring up to 10,000 conversions per month. Both are available on 6-month or annual subscriptions. The integration with yellaUmbrella allows users of the Nebula and Stellar systems to access the OOONA Convert tool on a pay per use basis per file.
