Spectrum 2025 to focus on spectrum sharing

The Washington, D.C., conference will look at spectrum sharing from a business point of view.

Spectrum 2025, a one-day conference in Washington, D.C., Feb. 5, will offer regulators, policymakers, spectrum managers, network planners, wireless researchers, broadcasters and other spectrum stakeholders with a forum to discuss the future of spectrum use, particularly spectrum sharing, in the United States.

The conference will look at spectrum sharing from a business point of view and will delve into:

  • Likely Spectrum Access System rules for the 3.5GHzvInnovation Band;
  • The mechanics of spectrum sharing; and
  • Spectrum sharing implications.

Event sponsors include the LPTV Spectrum Rights Coalition, Spectrum Evolution, the White Space Alliance and others. Mark Aitken, CTO of Sinclair Broadcast Group, is on the list of speakers.
