Zixi has announced a partnership with Videon who have natively integrated Zixi into LiveEdge, a powerful container-based edge compute ecosystem with sub-second glass-to-glass latency. A second integration enables LiveEdge to be managed by Zixi’s ZEN Master control plane, enabling users to manage large-scale configurations and orchestrate, analyze, monitor, and report on live video streams and devices across the Zixi Enabled Network of customers, integrated hardware and software applications, platforms and service providers standardized on Zixi.
GatesAir will introduce a new 1RU Intraplex IP Link hardware codec at IBC that represents the brand’s next generation of Audio over IP hardware solutions along with two other IP Link products introduced last year. GatesAir’s Intraplex business will also introduce support for MicroMPX technology to enable bandwidth reduction for FM MPX signal transport over single-frequency networks. The MicroMPX implementation will be available in all three next-gen IP Link products, including the IP Link 100c half-rack-unit codec and IP Link 100e transmitter module.

This puts the spotlight on performance and ultra-low and latency streaming, as well as security of mobile apps and unauthorized devices.
