TAMUZ Broadcast

German company TAMUZ manufactures high-quality professional monitors for production, acquisition, presentation and general broadcast applications, producing a range of small to large to displays in both high definition and standard definition. Describing itself as an "owner driven company" that does not work on a mass manufacture basis but instead builds to order, sometimes in small quantities, TAMUZ has been active in the television studio technical market for over 25 years. In that time it claims that several thousand of its devices have been installed worldwide. Its monitors are used in control rooms, OB trucks, post-productions facilities and SNG flyaways.

Among its most recent major installations were projects at TV stations in the Middle East. TAMUZ's broadcast monitors, designed for camera control, post-production, on-air playout, measurement and master control, are based on the OSPREY Series and include dual seven-inch rackmount HD models, portable nine-inch HD displays, 23.5-inch broadcast screens and a 17-inch full HD broadcast display. There are also LCD monitors for studio, ENG, portable and camera-mountable applications and products for 3D stereoscopy. TAMUS also supplies calibration and test equipment, power supplies and RF receiving gear, with tuners for satellite, DVB-T and cable. The company also provides full service support.
