Our broadcast-grade compression product line is software-defined and expandable to multiple channels up to 4K video encoding technology, including support for Dolby-E/AC-4, RIST, and SRT protocols.

As a founding member of the openGear® initiative, we offer a range of openGear compliant solutions as well as video and audio processing products for closed caption compliance and insertion, signal transport, audio loudness processing, color correction, dynamic ad insertion, and more.

An active participant in many industry forums and associations including AIMS, IABM, IEEE, RIST, SBE, SMPTE, SVG, and VSF, Cobalt supports the development of open standards and industry specifications with a talented team of engineers that have made significant industry contributions in Internet streaming, uncompressed video over IP, and HDR. Cobalt is a founding member of the RIST forum.
