The company was founded by director/dop Sebastian Cramer, whose technical background includes the invention of the Academy® , Emmy® and Cinec-Award winning Skater® Dolly and it‘s family of products. 

Screen Plane have successfully provided 3D gear for big feature film productions, 3D documentaries and commercials.Among others our clients include: Red Bull, Arri, China Film Group, Salon Films, RAI, Shanghai Media Group, Adidas, Audi, Microsoft.We are working closely with companies like cmotion, who have integrated a customized version of their 8-axis lens/rig controller into our rigs. We have established a partnership with french company Stereolabs, with whom we have developed PURE X3, to analyze and control up to 3 fully motorized rigs from one control unit
