Broadband communication services are spreading rapidly, and in keeping this we are steadily progressing with improvements in the broadband network, starting with the opticalization of access systems and increasing the capacity of metro and long haul systems. Based on our core technologies, NEL provides a variety of products from communication control LSIs for LAN and WAN to 10Gbps and 40Gbps ultra high speed devices and modules. Notably, we are aiming to rapidly realize new optical network equipment employing ultra high speed device technologies and cutting edge optical components. We hope to achieve high quality, low price system LSIs for information appliance equipment and ultra high frequency or low power consumption wireless LSIs.
